With a new format of Island Vs. Island, this years Soca Explosion Cup Clash will feature 10 Soca DJs from around the Eastern Caribbean battling it out for the cup.

The DJs will be judged using a points earned system, over 10 individual rounds.

2016 is the 6th year of Soca Explosion. The competition grows year on year as does the prestige of the coveted 1st, 2nd and 3rd podium places.

Appreciation will be shown to all the competition entrants with medals awarded to all the DJs taking part.

The competition has become a landmark event to the Manchester Eastern Caribbean Community brought to you by The Manchester Eastern Caribbean Carnival.

Soca Explosion welcomes everyone and the organisers hope to see a diversity of cultures at the event.

This fantastic evening of live Caribbean music is an important part of keeping the eastern Caribbean community together in Manchester and bringing international students closer to home.

With Soca artists performing live on the night, the Soca Explosion team hopes the event will bring the sunshine and sparkle of the Eastern Caribbean straight to you in heart of Manchester.
