Cepekee Recovery Fund

Cecil ‘Cepeke’ Lake was hospitalised at the Glendon Hospital in Montserrat on Sunday January 7th with limited ability to move his limbs (arms and legs). His condition worsened on January 8th when he completely lost movement in his limbs and started complaining of having difficulty breathing. He was transferred on a medivac flight to Antigua Monday afternoon and diagnosed with Guillian-Barre Syndrome. A rare autoimmune disorder. He was placed on the Intensive Care Unit that same night and had respiratory failure overnight resulting in him being intubated and placed on a ventilator to breathe. His condition worsened over the following days, however he is now improving but will require continuous physical and physiotherapy to completely recover and regain full mobility. Your contributions will help to cover his ICU medical expenses and recovery process. All all donations will be highly appreciated. Thank You.
